I've been in school. I've been busy. I just had a baby.
I have lots of excuses for why I've neglected my blog, but I won't go into them. There's no excuse.
"The Bones Beneath" is a thriller (I guess) I'm writing now. I had started the second Brynn story, I had started the first "The Broken Apostles" also. But, I had a nightmare, and if you write horror, that's usually how this stuff starts.
I had a nightmare about a body lying on a big city sidewalk falling into the dirty, littered street. This body was missing its arms and legs and was bald and bleeding. I knew who it was, as a whole, rather than as a specific person. I knew who I was looking down at this victim of death.
That started my story and, in between classes and family matters, that story has preoccupied my mind.
I'm going to re-purpose this blog for "The Bones Beneath" and the different issues and items that story brings about. Each Work In Progress I have thereafter, will be the central purpose of this blog.
I had no idea what the blog should have been about before, but I now have a better plan and hopefully will stick to it.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby, AL! That's wonderful! If I don't see you post for a while I'll think you're a)changing diapers, b)studying, or c) writing (not necessarily in that order)! I'm looking forward to reading more about "The Bones Beneath" and reading it when it comes out :)
